The Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Coal City University, Enugu, wishes to draw the attention of the public to a publication alleging that the University has admitted students into a Law programme.
The University categorically states that this report is false and misleading. Coal City University has not established a Faculty of Law and has not admitted any students into a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programme.
The University wishes to emphasize that all academic programmes and admissions at Coal City University are conducted strictly in accordance with the regulations of the National Universities Commission (NUC), and any suggestion otherwise is entirely false.
At no time did the publication seek clarification from the University before publishing the story. The public is therefore advised to disregard the publication in its entirety. The University has formally written to the newspaper requesting an immediate retraction of the publication and an unreserved apology.
Coal City University remains committed to strict compliance with all NUC regulations and to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and excellence.
