Job Summary

The University is seeking reliable and professional male and female security officers to patrol and monitor activities in the University and its other facilities.

In this position, you will prevent theft, violence, and infraction of rules by maintaining a highly visible presence and preventing all illegal or inappropriate actions.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Monitor the University’s properties and maintain a safe and secure environment

2. Watch for signs of crime or disorder; investigate disturbances and react swiftly to stop when found

3. Act lawfully at all times in direct defense of life or property

4. Act as a consistent presence to deter criminals

5. Evict violators of rules and regulations

6. Report any suspicious/unusual occurrences to authorities and management

7. Patrol university/facility premises randomly and regularly, including buildings and perimeter

8. Monitor and control access of vehicles and persons into the university and facilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. SSCE or University Degree will be an added advantage

2. Work experience as a security guard will be a significant advantage.

3. Willingness to comply with all laws and institutional regulations at all times

4. Integrity, professionalism, and character beyond reproach.

Role Summary The post holder will provide strategic planning and leadership and will line manage the admissions and marketing team. The post holder will work with and report to the Vice-Chancellor.

Primary Duties
• Develop and maintain a database of student, academic and agent contacts to facilitate customer relationship management & direct mailing to recruit prospective students.
• To oversee students recruitment and develop and implement recruitment strategies to ensure that the University’s recruitment targets are met.
• To be responsible for all aspects of the University’s admissions process with a view to maximising the number of enquiries, visits, registrations and joiners, whilst ensuring that retention levels remain strong.
• To take responsibility for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the whole University and to act as ‘brand guardian’.
• To promote and develop the University’s image and reputation amongst its key constituencies including parents, feeder schools, business and the wider community.
• S/he will inspire, motivate and guide everyone who contributes to the marketing and admissions functions and will provide training and mentoring as necessary.
• Raise awareness of the University in its key markets to ensure sufficient enquiries of the right calibre are generated for the desired number of entrants at each entry point.
• Develop community relations initiatives in order to raise the profile of the University and support its strategic recruitment goals.
• Directs all digital advertising and sponsored content activities, such as display and search advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and retargeting efforts.
• Manages and executes digital advertising on Google Ads, paid and organic social media, broadcast, radio, print advertising, and direct mail campaigns.

DUTIES

The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the University except as regards academic and financial matters. TERMS OF APPOINTMENT

The Registrar shall hold office for a single term of four (4) years only, on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must possess a good honours Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Humanities or related disciplines obtained from a recognised University and significant administrative and professional experience, with a minimum of five years at the senior professional level in a University or organisation of comparable standing.   • This job is responsible for supporting the University’s governance function by providing professional secretariat support for a number of University Committees and administrative and organisational support for University-wide ceremonial events.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Committee support:

  1.  To manage the operation of a number of University committees and subsidiary companies with responsibility for:
