Professor Pat Obi is a Visiting Professor of Finance in the Department Management Sciences. He is an endowed professor at Purdue University with the academic title, White Lodging Endowed Professor of Finance. He is also the Director of the Executive MBA program at Purdue University Northwest, financial consultant for the City of Hammond, Indiana (USA); and a Certified Hotel Industry Analyst. Professor Obi received his Ph.D. in Finance and Econometrics from the University of Mississippi. At Purdue Northwest, he teaches corporate finance, financial markets, derivatives, and applied statistics. With professional engagements in several countries across four continents, Obi is the author of numerous scholarly publications including two financial books.

Professor Venancio Tauringana is a Visiting Professor of Accounting in the Department of Management Science. He is a Professor of Accounting and the Head of Department of Accounting, Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. Professor Ven has extensive research interests in the areas of corporate governance, voluntary disclosures, and their consequences, working capital management and environmental reporting.

Professor Declan Ihekwoaba Onwudiwe
Professor Declan Ihekwoaba Onwudiwe is a Visiting Professor of Criminology in the Department of Social Science. He is a Professor of Administration of Justice in the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at Texas Southern University (TSU). He received his PhD degree from the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University. His research has focused primarily on African Criminology, terrorism, policing, strategic security, and theoretical criminology. He has published many scholarly articles on terrorism and policing, and he is the author of the Globalization of Terrorism.
He served as both the Director of the Graduate Program and Chair of the Department of Administration of Justice (DAJ) at TSU. Additionally, Professor Onwudiwe provides strategic security solutions and advice to government agencies and organizations in homeland defense, counterterrorism, and community policing. Professor Cresantus Biamba
Professor Cresantus Biamba is a Visiting Professor of Education Studies in the Department of Educational Foundations. He is an Associate Professor in Education at the Department of Educational Sciences, University of Gavle (Sweden). He holds a PhD in International and Comparative Education, from Stockholm University, Sweden. Prior to joining University of Gavle, he worked as a researcher and Assistant Professor in Education at Stockholm University, Lecturer in education at Ecole Normale Superieure d’Enseignement Technique, University of Douala, Cameroon.

Dr. Uzoechi Nwagbara is a Visiting Senior Fellow in the Department of Management Science. He is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sunderland in London. Dr. Nwagbara is well published in highly ranked peer-reviewed International Journals and most of his publications focus on the relationship between business and society, sustainable development, leadership, Human Resource Management and Management in general as well as Employment Relations and Post-Colonial African studies.

Dr Obinna Uguru is a Visiting Senior Fellow in the Department of Chemical Sciences. He is also the Coordinator, Internationalisation and Partnership Unit, Coal City University. Prior to this role, he served as a Researcher in the Centre for Climate Justice, Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), Scotland.

Prof. Chuma Okoro is a Visiting Professor in the Department Microbiology, Coal City University. He is currently a professor of Environmental Microbiology at Alex Ekweme Federal University. He got his first degree in Microbiology from University of Nigeria, Enugu, M.Sc. degree and PhD. Prof. Okoro was a UNESCO Scholar at the University of Tel-Aviv Israel in 1997 where he worked with Prof. Eugene Rosenberg on the production and development of biological surfactants.
Prof. Okoro invented a bioremediation technology in 1996 called “Sea Water Microbial Inocula” an efficient bioremediation technology that is presently used by a multinational oil company to manage oil spills in Nigerian mangrove swamps. At the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he did his Post-doctoral studies, Prof. Okoro established a very strong research collaboration with Prof. Gerrit Voordouw, leader of the Petroleum Microbiology Research group on production related problems of microbial origin in the oil and gas industry. Professor Aminu Mamman
Professor Aminu Mamman is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Management Sciences. He is a Professor of Management and International Development at the University of Manchester Global Development Institute. He is currently a Co-Lead Investigator of the 1.5 million euros European Commission funded research project on the impact of Globalization on management and business practices in Africa.
This is a research collaboration with researchers from Belgium, Germany and France. He was a former Director of the Centre for Organizations in Development at the University of Manchester. He has been the coordinator of Post Graduate Research at the Global Development Institute, University of Manchester. Professor Mamman has published more than 70 academic and non-academic work in the form of journal articles, books, book chapters, monographs and consultancy reports. His publications appeared in high ranking Journals such as Organization Studies, British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Management, International Business Review, and International Journal of Human Resource Management. Professor Mamman has pioneered research in the understanding of how interpretation of globalization influences managerial decision making. This strand also includes research that examines management innovation diffusion and knowledge appropriation in organizations. Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (PhD, MBA, Graduate Dip Law, Dip Coaching, BSc (Hons) Microbiology and Biochemistry, Certificates in Function and Data Modelling), is an Award-winning educator, with over 25 years’ experience in management, consulting, training and coaching.
She has worked with many industries, organizations, teams, leaders and entrepreneurs in diverse sectors all over the world from Financial Services, Housing, Government, Transportation, the Third sector, Professional Institutions, Education, and the Creative Arts. Dr Shaw is currently a Director at Moxie. Global Limited where she leads as a specialist advisor that helps create next generation organizations through collaborative transformation, distinctive behavior change and focused growth potential. She is Founder of 1000 Black Voices where she amplifies Black Voices for eradicating racism and strives to develop the resilience and empowerment of the Black community.
Dr. Nkechinyelu Edeh
Dr. Nkechinyelu Edeh is a lecturer in the field of Organizational Studies at Queen Mary University of London where she teaches Human Resource Management. She holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Aberystwyth University. She completed a Masters’ degree the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, and a BSc. In Business Administration in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Her research work covers issues of performance measurement and management, migration and its impact on identity, and inequality regimes, taking an intersectionality stance. I have studied Nigerian women working in the NHS, UK through the lens of intersectionality. This study focused on the mediating role of professional status in the experiences of first-generation Nigerian immigrant healthcare professionals. My research interests are interdisciplinary in nature and include Organizational Studies, Organizational Psychology, and Cultural Studies.
Prof. Godwin Oyedokun
Prof. Godwin Oyedokun is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Management Sciences. He is a young but experienced multidisciplinary scholar-practitioner of good repute with over 25 years’ experience and over 27 professional qualifications, from both Nigeria and International professional bodies. He is the co-founder and the Chief Technical Consultant at OGE Professional Services –a firm of Chartered Accountants, Forensic Auditors & Tax Professional.
Godwin is a Professor of Forensic Accounting & Finance at Charisma University, Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI), British Overseas Territories of the United Kingdom, an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Management & Accounting of Lead City University Ibadan Nigeria. He also currently Lectures in the Department of Taxation, Nasarawa State University Keffi, while he was a one-time adjunct lecturer at Babcock University, South-Western University and McPherson University, all in Nigeria to mention few.
Professor Godwin is currently a Faculty member for the supervision of Postgraduate Students at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is also an External Examiner for undergraduate programme of the Accountancy Department, Faculty of Business Administration, Abia State University, Uturu Nigeria.
Prof. Godwin worked with Ibraheem Jimoh & Co Chartered Accountants as a Partner, Audit and Forensic Services, and as the Director- Tax, Forensic & Regulatory Services at Saffron Professional Services. He was the Head of Education, Research & Technical and the Head – Finance & ICT Departments of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He was the Senior Analyst- Enterprise Risk Management & Control at XL Management Services Ltd and the Accounts Manager (Head) at Bond Group of Companies.
Prof. Godwin attended Osun State College of Technology Esa- Oke Osun State of Nigeria for his National Diploma (ND) in Financial Studies and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy. Also, he holds B.Sc. in Accounting Education of the University of Ado- Ekiti, (now Ekiti State University), Nigeria. He bagged his MBA in Finance & Accounting and M.Sc Business & Applied Economics (Finance) at Olabisi Onabanjo University and M.Sc. & Ph.D. Accounting from Babcock University. He holds BSc Accounting & Finance (First Class); MSc in Taxation & Fiscal Policy and PhD in Forensic Accounting & Audit of Charisma University, United Kingdom; and the Advanced Certificate in Fraud Examination of South Africa Financial & Accounting Services Sector Education & Training Authority.
Prof. Godwin had attended several local and international conferences in the last 15 years with over 50 professional articles, 127 peered-reviewed academic articles, and 14 conference papers to his credit and he had contributed chapters to more than 10 textbooks and have 15 books to his credit. He has successfully supervised as a sole supervisor, 58 BSc Projects, 8 PGD Projects, 30 MSc Dissertations, and over 17 completed Ph.D research works in management, accounting, finance, taxation and forensic accounting & audit in Nigeria and overseas.
Prof. Godwin is a board member of Covenant Capital Business School of the Covenant Nation Church, Lagos and he is currently a member of Publication and Image committee having previously and a board member of Audit, Investigation and Forensic Accounting Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is a Member, Capacity Building and Certification Committee of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and the Treasurer of Lagos Branch of same CIBN having previously held a position of Assistant General Secretary. Prof. Uchenna Ekwo
Prof. Uchenna Ekwo is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Social Sciences Coal City University. He is a journalist by training, a teacher by choice, mediator by temperament, Prof. Uchenna Ekwo is on the faculty of the Department of Mass Communications, Creative & Performing Arts and Speech, Medgar Evers College, The City University of New York, CUNY. Prof. Ekwo is also an adjunct professor at the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers University, Newark Campus where he also serves as Co-chair of the Annual Gershowitz Conference on Media and Democratic Governance. A scholar-practitioner, Ekwo was the founding President at the Center for Media & Peace Initiatives, New York- a media and policy think tank in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council.
He had an impressive career working in different media platforms – Radio Nigeria as reporter/editor for 12 years, Africa Independent Television (Assistant Manager News – 3 years), Daily Star Newspapers, Hints Magazine, and online including Al-Jazeera News Network. Born in Nigeria, Ekwo served as Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists in Enugu State (1994-1997) during the military regime in Nigeria. A frequent public speaker, Prof. Ekwo has delivered researched papers at international conferences across five continents including his 2012 address to the Pan African Parliament in South Africa on “Communication Strategies for Peace and Development in Africa.”
Ekwo serves on the board of Consortium for International Management, Policy & Development that works to inspire and promote collaborative working relationships towards the advancement of knowledge in public administration, public management, public policy and leadership development, among practitioners and academicians in various African countries and the diaspora. A public policy analyst, journalism instructor, and media consultant, Ekwo has authored four books to his credit: Media and Diaspora Strategies: Issues in Global Governance and Democratic Participation; Mass Media & Marketing Communications: Principles, Practices, and Perspectives; Reporting Conflicts-A practical guide to journalists; and Leadership & Journalism – Enduring Challenges, New Practices: The Convergence, Divergence of Press, Politics, and Power in Modern Democracies (forthcoming, Summer 2020). Prof. Ekwo is a recipient of numerous awards including Ambassador for Peace Award by the Universal Peace Federation based in the US and a nomination for the 2017 El-Hibri Peace Education Prize for his contributions towards “building inclusive and socially just communities in the United States.” His research interests are media convergence and Africa’s political economy.
