A healthy nation would translate to a growing economy. Statistically, in Nigeria only 1.95 qualified health care workers are available to 1000 citizens. The health space is a global catalyst for the realization of sustainable development goals in tandem with the World Health Organization.<\/p>\n

At CCU we go the extra mile in preparing our students for global positioning. We enrich classroom experiences with field exposures to prepare our alumni as HealthTek entrepreneurs. Our blended learning system, innovative curricula and inspirational ambiance delivers an out of the box academic experience.<\/p>\n

Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences (FH<\/span>S), <\/span>Coal City University , Enugu<\/span>. <\/span>T<\/span>he Faculty comprises the Departments of Nursing Science, Physiotherapy, Radiography and Radiation Science and Medical Laboratory Sciences.<\/span> We aim to produce professionals that will be skilled in multidisciplinary practice, combining all the facets of knowledge and practice, grounded academically and morally to <\/span>stand<\/span> out in research<\/span>, academics and improve health and innovation.<\/span> The vision<\/span> of our remarkable and diverse community of Faculty, staff, and students is to work together<\/span> to improve health and well-<\/span>being.<\/span><\/p>\n

In line with the vision and mission of our University, the Faculty promises to uphold the principles of integrity and excellence by presenting a platform for life-long learning on the part of the students and a purely serene academic environment for quality research t<\/span>hat will impact on our local community, the nation and global communities<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
