The Job<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe Vice-Chancellor is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Academic Head of Coal <\/span>City University. As the ex-officio Chairman of the Senate and a member of the Governing <\/span>Council, the Vice-Chancellor is responsible to the Council for policy implementation in key <\/span>areas such as finance, property\/facilities management, and effective administration of the <\/span>institution. In addition, the Vice-Chancellor oversees the administration of academic <\/span>programs and ensures discipline among staff and students in line with the university\u2019s <\/span>established regulations. Furthermore, the Vice-Chancellor enhances the university’s visibility <\/span>and reputation locally and internationally, and leads initiatives for growth, sustainability, and <\/span>improvement in all areas of university functions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidate Profile<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe ideal candidate for the position of Vice-Chancellor must be a distinguished academic <\/span>with proven managerial expertise. The candidate must meet the following qualifications:<\/span>
\n\u2731\u00a0Must be a full-fledged Professor with requisite years of experience in a reputable university as <\/span>of the date of this advertisement.<\/span>
\n\u2731\u00a0Must not be older than 65 years at the time of taking up the appointment.<\/span>
\n\u2731\u00a0Proven track record in university administration, strategic planning, and financial <\/span>management.<\/span>

\n\u2731\u00a0A highly innovative, dynamic, and self-motivated academic with strong leadership and <\/span>administrative skills.<\/span>
