WELCOME TO THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome to the Faculty of Education! On this website you can read about activities going on in the Faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Education is committed to providing a student experience of the highest standard. We take seriously our responsibility to prepare students for the world of work. The aim of all our programmes is to develop graduates who are able to demonstrate an evidence-informed, outcomes-focused, inquiry-based approach to teaching. We expect a lot from our students; hard work, dedication and motivation.<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite you to join us in exploring education in all its facets.\u00a0 How do people learn?\u00a0 What makes a school effective?\u00a0 How do different societies structure their education systems?\u00a0 How can we make education more inclusive?\u00a0 How can we develop our own teaching practice? We want you to not just read, talk and learn about ideas but to ask questions about them challenge them occasionally and develop your analytical skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are keen to give all our students opportunity to develop an international dimension to their studies, which will enhance their opportunities for future growth. On successful completion of our programme, <\/span>which are <\/span>, \u00a0Educa<\/span>tional Management\/English Lan<\/span>gu<\/span>a<\/span>ge, Educational Management\/Political Science, Educational Management\/Social studies, Education & computer science, Education & Biology, Guidance and counseling\/En<\/span>glish Lang<\/span>uage, Guidance and counseling \/Political Science, Guidance and counseling \/Social studies, Guidance and counseling\/Economics, Educational Management\/ Economics, Education & Economics and Business Education<\/span>, <\/span>students will have the subject knowledge, pedagogical understanding and appropriate dispositions to teach effectively in order to address current disparities in educational achievement.<\/span><\/p>\n
