Dr. Uzoechi Nwagbara is a Visiting Senior Fellow in the Department of Management Science. He is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sunderland in London. Dr. Nwagbara is well published in highly ranked peer-reviewed International Journals and most of his publications focus on the relationship between business and society, sustainable development, leadership, Human Resource Management and Management in general as well as Employment Relations and Post-Colonial African studies.
He received both B.A. and M.A. in English as well as M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Management respectively from University of Wales. Nwagbara has been undertaking external engagements with several secondary and tertiary institutions in Nigeria and the United Kingdom including University of Plymouth, Greenwich School of Management (GSoM), Cardiff Metropolitan University and University of the West of Scotland amongst others and also holds visiting positions at London School of Commerce and University of the West of Scotland. His research foci which are trans and multi-disciplinary include Work-Life Balance (WLB), Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), Corporate Social Responsibility amongst others.
